Building your own view of what's coming.
Beyond the normal forecasting or budget cycle — typically five to ten years out — most organisations either have no agreed view of what could transform their business, or individual leaders hold different, unstated versions of it. Without a shared view, planning tends to happen around whichever version is loudest in the room.
Your Futures Map — your own scenario or scenarios, ranked by probability and impact, each with a description of the scenario and the signals worth monitoring: what would make it more or less likely, and more or less urgent.
Knowing which scenario is drawing closer — or further away — is what tells you when to act on a Future Readiness Plan, not whether to build one; that should exist and stay current regardless. Monitoring is something you can do yourselves (we can train your team to do this), or something we can provide as an ongoing service.
Who this is for: Leadership teams and boards who need a shared, agreed view of the future before they can plan for it — their own view, not scenarios supplied by an outside consultancy.
A no-obligation 30-minute conversation to talk through what you're trying to see.
Book a Scoping Conversation →The Futuring Workshop is a proprietary mix of facilitated workshops, structured surveys, and research. We don't tell a client what the future is. We bring the method; your leadership team provides the content, and owns the answer.
An initial conversation to understand your context and the key questions.
Background research into the trends and drivers relevant to your situation.
A facilitated workshop (or short series) with the leadership team — and relevant external stakeholders, where useful — to develop scenarios.
A ranking of those scenarios by probability and impact.
